         The F.A.S.T ID Infield Combine is designed to give athletes real, objective feedback on where they currently stand amongst their peers—both athletically and defensively as infielders.

Athletes will be tested in key performance metrics including speed, explosiveness, and power, helping players and families better understand strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth. Testing will include the 10-yard dash, 60-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, and additional athletic performance measures.

Leading the speed and athletic development portion will be Marcus Block, a highly successful speed coach known for developing athletes through elite acceleration, first-step quickness, top-end speed mechanics, and change of direction training. Athletes will gain exposure to the same principles used to help athletes move more efficiently and perform at a higher level.

The infield evaluation and instructional portion will be led by Coach Drew Walsh, owner of F.A.S.T Development, where athletes will be evaluated on throwing velocity, defensive sequences, movement patterns, and infield-specific testing designed to provide meaningful feedback on defensive skill set, efficiency, and overall infield play.

Each athlete will receive their testing and evaluation results, giving players and families valuable insight into their athletic performance, defensive abilities, and areas for continued development. This allows athletes to better understand where they currently stand amongst their peers while providing a benchmark for future growth.

Following the testing and evaluation portion, athletes will transition into a hands-on instructional clinic, where coaches will teach the philosophies, systems, and movement principles that drive high-level infield play and athletic performance. Athletes will learn the same principles used at F.A.S.T Development to improve footwork, movement efficiency, throwing, first-step actions, and defensive confidence.

This is more than a camp. It is an opportunity to train, be evaluated, receive objective feedback, learn from elite coaches, and better understand what it takes to separate yourself as an athlete and infielder.
